The Person Behind
the Practice
2 Timothy 1:7 (ESV) “For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”

Licensed Mental Health Counselor • Psychotherapist • Facilitator
I believe therapy can be a space for insight, growth, and possibility—and for developing a fuller, more honest relationship with yourself.
My approach is relational, culturally responsive, and grounded in thoughtful conversation, clinical depth, and human connection—with room for humor, curiosity, and the wonderfully imperfect parts of being human.
How I Work
I’m less interested in helping people become someone new, and more interested in helping them understand themselves more fully.
My work often explores emotional wellness, identity, relationships, and the ways culture, family, and lived experience shape how we move through the world.
My approach is relational, culturally responsive, and grounded in thoughtful conversation, clinical depth, and human connection. My work is also shaped by personal values rooted in compassion, grace, and a deep respect for each person’s story.
I work with adults across backgrounds, with particular clinical focus supporting Caribbean individuals and Black people (with specialization with boys and men) through culturally responsive care.
What Therapy With Me May Feel Like
Thoughtful and collaborative.
Grounded and direct.
Culturally honest.
Reflective, sometimes playful, occasionally awkward.
Serious about the work, without taking ourselves too seriously.
